Meet The Heart Behind The Operation

Leamon “Duke” Barner III may have been born in Tuscaloosa and raised between there and Mobile, but his real education came from years of hands-on experience in the roadside assistance world.

Since 2011, Duke has been the guy people call when everything goes wrong. He cut his teeth at Hub City Towing, mastering everything from simple jump starts to complex vehicle recoveries… Always with the calm, steady approach that puts stressed drivers at ease.

When Duke returned to Tuscaloosa in 2018, he brought his skills to Horton’s Garage and Body Shop, where he worked as both a mechanic and tow operator until the shop closed in 2022.

Rather than see this as a setback, Duke viewed it as an opportunity. While working at Express Oil and Tire Engineers, he continued building his reputation as that reliable, down-to-earth professional everyone in town could count on.

A Parntership Built On Shared Values

Dustin Johnson brings a different but complementary skill set to the partnership. As a seasoned business owner in the roofing industry, Dustin understands what it takes to build lasting relationships with customers and deliver consistent, quality service.

Though the brothers grew up in different cities, they’ve always shared an unshakeable bond built on grit, loyalty, and the kind of work ethic that doesn’t know the meaning of “closed.”

After years of late-night conversations about Duke’s vision for his own roadside assistance company, the pieces finally came together.

Dustin’s business acumen combined with Duke’s technical expertise and deep industry knowledge created the perfect foundation for something special.
